The
processor is the main controller in your
computer. By selecting a faster processor, your computer will become
faster and more powerful. The speed of a processor is measured in
Gigahertz or GHz.
A dual core processor is essentially two
processors put into one package. The computer will send half of the
tasks it needs done to one processor and the other half of the tasks to
the other processor. This will almost double the speed of a computer.
A quad core is the same idea as a dual core, but it has four processors
instead of two.
